Neugea is a three-part wall relief for the new cafeteria and multi-purpose building of the Johanna-Eck-School in Berlin-Tempelhof. The work consists of elaborately hand-painted, overlapping wooden shapes that visually resemble a map with different continents and islands. The work is installed in three groups, along with a legend, across various walls in the building.

The design emerged from a participatory process in collaboration with a group of students and is based on discussions about identity and visions for a future world. A legend of selected key values and iconographic patterns – all based on the sketches and ideas of the young people – allows for playful, political, and social interpretations of a new, colorful, and utopian world order.
